Dr. Alicia Wilson is a hydrogeologist and professor at the University of South Carolina’s School of the Earth, Ocean & Environment whose research focuses on one of our planet’s most important resources: water. (University of South Carolina)
Her work explores how groundwater moves through coastal environments, how it interacts with rivers and the ocean, and how it can carry nutrients and other chemicals into coastal ecosystems.
