Careers in Football
Coach Twan Adams

Twan Adams is a 30-year-old former collegiate football player who competed at Tuskegee University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Business Management. During his athletic career, Adams achieved significant success both at the high school and collegiate levels. In high school, he helped lead his team to four state championship appearances, winning three state titles. At the collegiate level, he continued that success by winning two conference championships in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and capturing an HBCU National Championship.

After his playing career, Adams discovered his true calling off the field through coaching and mentoring student-athletes. He is now entering his sixth year of coaching high school football and his third year serving as a Defensive Coordinator, after previously working as a defensive line coach.

Adams began his coaching career at Miami Booker T. Washington Senior High School and currently coaches at Mater Academy Charter Middle/High School. In addition to coaching, he is in the process of becoming a social science teacher.

Adams is passionate about working with young people and believes that coaching and teaching allow him to help shape the next generation. He finds fulfillment in positively impacting students’ lives and believes that if a person can change even one life for the better, they are contributing to making the world a better place.
